Day 1 work time...

Got some things done today. Got the motor pulled, and did some frame grinding here and there of useless ugly tabs. Started pulling apart the motor and realized this thing is going to need a lot more work than I thought.

So pretty much today really sucked. Tried to go pick up the bike by myself in a truck that was too tall without a good ramp, in the pouring rain. Took about an hour but finally somehow I pushed the bike into the back of the truck.



Got it home. This will be the last time it looks like this....Game TIME!!

250 dollar score

Scored a 1982 Yamaha XS650 for $250. Doesn't run, missing lots of parts, and the title is from North Carolina back in 1987......hmmm. Either way its a good project so if I mess up, oh well....
